PN-EN ISO 16890

Certificates and attestations SFM has obtained the latest ISO 9001:14001 Certificate. The certificate guarantees transparent conditions of cooperation for our clients…

PN-EN ISO 16890 ISO 16890 certification is an international standard applied in the air filter industry. This standard specifies testing methods and classification of air filters based on their ability to capture solid and liquid particles present in the air.

ISO 16890 certification involves testing air filters based on three fractions of solid particles: PM1, PM2.5, and PM10. Filters are tested based on their ability to capture particles from each of these fractions, and the test results are expressed as filter classes. The filter classification aligns with the percentage efficiency of capturing particles from each fraction, up to the filter class designated as ISO ePM1 95%.

ISO 16890 certification aims to facilitate the selection of appropriate air filters based on specific application needs. Air filters certified with ISO 16890 are used in various industries, including the food, pharmaceutical, hospital, and many others.

It is worth noting that ISO 16890 certification has replaced the previous ISO 779 standard, which had lower effectiveness in testing low-efficiency air filters such as HEPA and ULPA filters. By implementing the ISO 16890 standard, air filter testing becomes more precise and accurate, allowing for the selection of higher quality and more efficient filters.

Certificate ISO19001

SO 19001 Certificate ISO 19001 certification, also known as ISO 9001, is an international quality management standard aimed at ensuring an effective quality management system within an organization. This standard specifies requirements for a quality management system that can be applied to all types of organizations, regardless of their size or industry.

Implementing the ISO 19001 standard can help organizations improve processes, increase efficiency, achieve compliance with regulations and standards, and enhance customer and stakeholder trust by providing high-quality products and services.

The ISO 19001 certification process typically consists of several stages, including the implementation of a quality management system, internal system assessment, external audit conducted by an independent certifying body, and regular system reviews.

The ISO 19001 standard was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is one of the most widely used quality management standards worldwide.

Our highest standards are regularly improved, and certificates are updated to ensure the utmost comfort for our clients.

Certificate ISO 14000

ISO 14000 Certificate The ISO 14000 standards are a series of international standards related to environmental management. They were developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to provide environmental management standards for organizations worldwide.

The ISO 14000 series consists of several standards, including ISO 14001, which specifies requirements for environmental management systems. ISO 14001 enables organizations to establish processes and procedures to minimize the impact of their activities on the environment and increase employee awareness of environmental protection.

The ISO 14000 standards also include standards for life cycle assessment (ISO 14040-14044), greenhouse gas emissions management (ISO 14064), environmental declarations (ISO 14025), and others.

ISO 14001 certification is voluntary, but many organizations choose to implement it to increase the effectiveness of their environmental protection efforts, minimize the risk of non-compliance with environmental regulations and standards, and enhance compliance with customer and stakeholder requirements.

Implementing ISO 14000 standards and obtaining certification can bring many benefits to organizations, including increased process efficiency, cost reduction, improved company image, increased employee engagement, and enhanced competitiveness in the market.

SFM company consistently operates according to the highest standards, aiming to best align its operations with minimizing environmental impact. Since 2009, our actions have been supported by the ISO 14000 certification.

Hygienic Certificates:

Hygienic Certificates: Hygienic certificates for air filters are testing procedures aimed at assessing the effectiveness of air filters in removing pollutants from the air. Hygienic certificates are issued by the National Institute of Hygiene (PZH) and are one of the criteria for evaluating the quality of air filters.

The National Institute of Hygiene is an institution responsible for public health protection in Poland. As part of its activities, the PZH is involved in researching air quality and issuing hygienic certificates for air filters. The hygienic certificate for air filters issued by the PZH confirms the air filtration effectiveness in removing pollutants and ensuring air quality in spaces where air filters are used. This certificate is valid for a specified period of time and requires regular testing and certification. SFM Filters constantly checks and renews the hygienic certificates for its products. Certificates are available upon request from customers.

The testing procedures used by the PZH in issuing hygienic certificates for air filters take into account various factors, such as the type of filter, its effectiveness in removing pollutants, the type of pollutants, and the conditions in the space where the air filter is used. The results of hygienic tests are expressed in percentages and determine the filter’s effectiveness in removing specific types of pollutants. The issuance of a hygienic certificate by the PZH for air filters confirms that the filter meets the required standards, resulting in improved air quality in spaces and the protection of human health.

Eurovent

Eurovent is an organization that brings together manufacturers and distributors of air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment from across Europe. Its aim is to develop quality standards in the industry and promote them. Eurovent also develops and publishes technical standards and guidelines that assist in the design, manufacture, and application of HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) products and systems. The organization also conducts educational and training activities to enhance the knowledge of professionals in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration.

Eurovent certifications assess the basic parameters of central ventilation units, including airflow, electrical power consumption, noise levels, heating and cooling efficiency, heat recovery efficiency, air and water resistance (concerning heat exchangers), and more. Possessing the relevant certificate confirms that the filter meets the requirements specified by Eurovent.

It’s important to note that Eurovent certifications are not required or mandated by Polish law for the sale of air filters.
