SFM Filters Łuczak has always aimed to protect the health of people and the natural environment, which is why it has been actively involved in the “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” program since 2015. This plan, which was approved by UN leaders, consists of 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 actions to be carried out by all parties: state governments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, the science and business sectors, and citizens.
SFM Filters Łuczak has long emphasized ecological solutions, sustainable consumption and production, as well as respect and protection of the rights of workers and customers in its policies and actions. Thanks to this, the company has received ISO 1900 and ISO 14000 environmental certifications. Currently, SFM Filters Łuczak is developing new initiatives that will enable the industry, business partners, media and scientific communities to work together to contribute to “Transforming Our World for the Better”.
Under the “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” program, SFM Filters Łuczak focuses particularly on achieving goals related to:
- good health and well-being (SDG No. 3),
- clean energy and ecological development (SDG No. 7),
- decent work and economic growth (SDG No. 8),
- sustainable consumption and production (SDG No. 12).
The actions taken by SFM Filters Łuczak under these goals, such as the production of green energy, the use of ecological solutions in production, ensuring good working conditions for employees, or providing customers with products in line with the principles of sustainable consumption, aim to contribute to creating a better, more sustainable world.
